This year’s show will have a many unique dances. The Desert Angels will present a variety of Middle Eastern dances to Arabic and Turkish music. The troupe will perform with shimmies, twists, and finger cymbals. One troupe number will be a zar dance, which is a dance that has deeper meanings and is danced to a spooky rhythm. There will also be a duet when the performers will dance with canes. The cane dance is traditionally from Upper Egypt, and it’s a lively dance. A tambourine choreography will also be performed to Amr Diab’s “Habibi Ya Nour el Ain,” which translates to “My Darling, You are the Glow in my Eyes.” You won’t want to miss this year’s show!
